There are specific stages all relationships go through, and a great model to look at when deciphering where your relationship stands is the Knapp's Relational Model . You may be wondering, "why would I use a model to determine my next steps or where my relationship is going?", well I'll tell you. The Knapps model incorporates two individual models in itself. Covering ten steps, each model has its own five. In the escalation model these steps include initiating, experimenting, intensifying, integrating, and bonding.      Social media and social networking definitely have drawbacks, but also many benefits. Social networking platforms open a world full of possibilities and connections for people. Whether that be finding a new job, making new friends, learning of ways to get involved in your community or simply asking complete strangers random questions you just need the answer to. We can open our world up through the use of social media but all that good also comes with a bit of danger. If we look at Facebook, for example, there is a lot of good, and bad that people can run into. There are opportunities to sell and buy products on Facebook, along with following and staying connected with old and new friends and following your favorite creators.   Hi everyone! My name is Reilly, and I am an Agricultural Science Major. I am aiming to work in the livestock/agricultural industries after I graduate. I have raised all different kinds of livestock, from horses to hogs and today I work as an equine vet assistant. My end goal remains uncertain; I may work towards becoming a veterinarian or work in feed/vet med/agricultural sales. In my free time I am a volunteer youth basketball coach in my hometown. I have been doing this for roughly five years now and absolutely love it. When it comes to my hopes in regard to this class, I hope to learn how to effectively use online communications to my advantage whether it be personal or professional relations.
